Central Oregon

Despite illness, schedules and bad weather, we managed to get away to Central Oregon for our anniversary! Its a special place and we're lucky to be here.

Different treasure...

While walking in Anderson Marsh with Cathy several weeks ago, we looked for a geocache.  We didn't find the hidden cache, but what a treasure we did find!  This tree is called the "Granary" where the birds 'deposit' acorns for the winter.



Maddie's road trip...

Maddie got to come with us on our trip to the Eureka radio stations. She got to chase chuck-it's at the road stops but she didn't get to share dinner (she had her own). She is one happy puppy!

TODAY...

I like the idea of a Word of the Year, which I learned about here! 

I have decided that my word this year will be "Today". 

In that spirit, I'll share a quote I recently came across

and of course the ever popular sentiment...

"How you spend your days is what you do with your life"

So I will make today count whether it be

creating, restoring or snoring

(sometimes rest is important)!!!!
